Terms of Service: Member Agreement

Below are the key terms of the “Contract” that applies to your use of our Services. When you use our Services you agree to these “Terms Of Service”. Your use of our Services is also subject to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which together explain how we collect, use, share, and securely store your personal data.
1. Introduction
1.1. Agreement
These Terms Of Service constitute a legally binding agreement made between you (“User”) and Graduate Pathfinder (“Company”, “We”, “Us” or “Our”). You agree that by accessing the Service, you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use our Services.
1.2. Members and Visitors
When you register, you become a “Member.” Unregistered users are “Visitors.” Both are bound by these terms to the extent they use the platform.
1.3. Changes
We may modify this Contract from time to time. Continued use after changes are published constitutes consent to the updated terms.
2. Eligibility & Membership
2.1. Age & Status
You must be 16 or older. This service is specifically for graduates and students as determined by our vetting criteria.
2.2. One Human, One Account
To maintain the integrity of our talent pool, you may only maintain one account. "Ghosting" or creating duplicate profiles is prohibited.
2.3. Honesty Pledge
You represent that all information provided - including grades, graduation dates, and work history - is accurate. Our reputation (and yours) depends on this.
3. Our Service: Human-Led, Tech-Assisted
3.1. Our Mission
Graduate Pathfinder is a job board, career tool, and professional service. Our primary goal is to provide human-driven guidance and opportunities.
3.2. Automated Filtering
We use algorithms to help organize and filter data so our human team and employers can find relevant matches faster.
3.3. Bias Protection
Our technology is "Demographic-Blind." It cannot see your age, gender, or ethnicity when performing matches. It focuses solely on your skills and merits.
3.4. Human Decision Making
We do not use "Robot Hiring." Critical decisions on shortlisting and employment are always made by humans.
4. User Content & Intellectual Property
4.1. Your Documents
You own your CV, portfolio, and content. By uploading them, you grant Graduate Pathfinder a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, store, and display your content to vetted employers in accordance with your privacy settings and our Privacy Policy.
4.2. Guidance, Not Ghostwriting
Our tools may suggest how to improve your CV, but you remain the author. We do not "AI-generate" your professional identity; we simply help you refine it.
5. Prohibited Conduct
5.1. Professionalism
You agree to engage with recruiters and our staff professionally.
5.2. No Scraping
You shall not use automated tools to harvest data from our platform.
5.3. No Misrepresentation
You shall not apply for roles for which you clearly do not meet the legal requirements (e.g., right to work) without full disclosure.
6. Fees & Payments
The Service for Members is currently free of charge. We will provide ample notice should any optional, paid "Premium" features be introduced.
7. Termination
7.1. Freedom to Leave
You can close your account at any time.
7.2. Account Removal
We reserve the right to remove accounts that provide false information, violate our "One Account" rule, or engage in unprofessional conduct.
8. Disclaimers & Liability
8.1. No Guarantee of Employment
We match you with opportunities, but we do not guarantee that you will be interviewed or hired.
8.2. Third-Party Links
We are not responsible for the content of external websites or the hiring practices of third-party employers.
8.3. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Graduate Pathfinder shall not be liable for any lost opportunities or indirect damages arising from your use of the Service.
9. Disputes & Governing Law
9.1. Jurisdiction
This Contract is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
9.2. Resolution
You agree that any legal dispute will be handled exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.
